New: Membership Expiration Reminder Email Templates
Help members renew on time with automatic email reminders sent before their memberships expire.
Instead of waiting until a membership has lapsed, FlowState can now notify members in advance, reducing missed renewals and helping keep memberships active.
What's New
You can choose to send reminder emails:
30 days before expiration
14 days before expiration
7 days before expiration
3 days before expiration
1 day before expiration
Enable any combination of these intervals. Each selected interval sends its own reminder email.
Each email can include:
Customer name
Member number
Membership name and SKU
Membership expiration date
Days remaining until expiration
Store name and phone number
Optional recurring charge amount
For added visibility, every reminder sent is automatically logged as a note in the member's CRM record.
Where to Find It
Configure expiration reminders under:
Settings → Membership → Emails
From there, you can:
Enable or disable expiration reminders (disabled by default)
Choose which reminder intervals to send
Set the daily send time (using the same local-time scheduling rules as the Missing Consent digest)
Customize the email subject and message
Choose whether to include the recurring charge amount
Send a test email before enabling the feature
Why You'll Love It
Keeping members informed before their memberships expire helps reduce unexpected lapses, encourages timely renewals, and reduces the number of expiration-related issues your team must manage. It's a simple way to improve member retention while delivering better customer service.
